The Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre began providing care to the elderly back in 1906. Throughout the years we have seen many changes, but one thing that has always remained consistent is the quality care given to our residents.
The Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, located in Methuen, MA is a smoke free facility that offers bright spacious rooms and an atmosphere of genuine caring to residents and rehabilitation clients. To complement our excellent care, The Nevins Centre also offers a variety of services.

Medical and Nursing Services:
Our Medical Director works closely with each resident’s personal physician to design an individual rehabilitation program and plan of care.The Nevins Centre's highly skilled nursing staff delivers a broad array of services to meet the individual needs of each client. Our primary goal is to help each client achieve and maintain his/her maximum level of independence.
Rehabilitative Therapies:
The Nevins Centre offers a complete and comprehensive program of therapy services and engaging activities to help retain skills, foster friendships and inspire interest. Therapy services are offered daily in our rehab gymnasium or in a location which meets the individual needs of our patients and residents.
Business Office:
Our experienced staff is here to inform you and/or your family of current financial, insurance or similar matters. Information about the various programs that may be of assistance to you is available upon request.
Prior to arriving at The Nevins Centre, it is suggested that you make arrangements for the safekeeping of cash and valuables.

Social Services:
The Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre’s Social Service department are concerned with meeting both your psychological and social needs. From the time of your admission, a social worker will work as an advocate for the resident and a liaison among staff, residents, and relatives and appropriate outside agencies. The Social Service department will be able to discuss concerns you may have and are available to you at anytime.
The Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre supports and upholds the right of family members, friends, and representatives of residents to form a Family Council.
Dining and Nutritional Services:
Upon admission, the Dining and Nutritional Services department is notified of the diet prescribed by your physician. A representative from our staff will meet with you to discuss your personal food preferences and careful attention is given to all individual needs. Our dietician will take this information to prepare a meal plan that meets your nutritional needs.Meals are served daily in our elegant Main Dining Room where a cheerful environment is created so our residents can enjoy each other's company during this time.
For your convenience, catering services for special occasions are available for a moderate fee. Families and visitors are welcome to reserve our Nantucket Room which is an ideal location for celebrating these special events. Our catering staff will be happy to assist you in planning your “special occasion.”
Activities:
The Activities department offers varied recreational programs within the Nevins Community. Each month a Centre calendar is posted in each room, as well as several other locations throughout the Centre. The activities will be announced daily and residents will be invited and encouraged to participate in the scheduled activities. In addition to the daily scheduled activities, “Special Activities” are also planned throughout the year.
